In this past year, the research community has worked incredibly hard to understand Covid-19 and to find treatments and vaccines.
More than one million participants took part in Covid-19 research across more than 180 studies UK-wide. For more details, see the article by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) here
In Scotland we had more than 66,000 participants across 120 Covid-19 studies. You can read more about #ResearchVsCovid on the NHS Research Scotland website
And last but not least, in Aberdeen we have had more than 1600 volunteers taking part in 24 studies.
